It's Your Birthday Blog Hop

Welcome to our January Art Philosophy Blog Hop!
We are starting a new year of blog hops for you all featuring Close to My Heart's exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge is available exclusively through a Close to My Heart Consultant.

This month we are featuring a "birthday" theme for you.  In this hop, you will see projects featuring this versatile cartridge from many talented crafty ladies!  Enjoy our blog hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Lucy's blog – Love 2 Create.  If you came from Darla ~ Caution: Stamping is Contagious then you are in the right place!

One of my favorite days to celebrate is on Sunday... my sweet baby girl is turning 4! So for this project I made her a very special gift bag with her favorite colors and "pupcakes" as she calls them.

This is very easy to do!! Just buy a plain gift bag and plain tissue paper.
With the stamp sets in this wonderful Cricut collection (Z1686) you can personalize your bag and paper to match any occasion.

I also cut out a gift tag from the Cricut cart. to match the bag theme...

And as we all know little girls love sparkles! So I added Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel (Z1313)

Your next stop on our birthday hop is Priscilla ~ Priscilla's Paperie.

Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way:

Lucy ~ Love 2 Create
Darla ~ Caution: Stamping is Contagious
Jennifer ~ 4 Hearts Scrapbooking
Priscilla ~ Priscilla's Paperie
Kindred Hearts ~ It Makes Total Cents
Theodora ~ Celebrate Crafts
Stephanie ~ The Quilted Scrapper
Traci ~ Paper Crafting 101

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you.

  2. Love how you stamped on the white tissue paper edges. Really adds just that special touch! I also like the repeat stamping pattern. It would also be great on a card! Thanks and blessings!
