For this hop I made 3 different projects... I just love this stamp set!! The first was made with Baby Cakes paper pack, Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape, and a few Bitty Sparkles. 

Next I made another card, but this time I used Laughing Lola paper pack and Black Stiped Grosgrain Ribbon

 For this last project I made a picture frame art piece using some Cardstock and a few Bitty Sparkles.

A Huntington Thanksgiving

I love the look of the Huntington paper pack... it is just perfect for Thanksgiving projects! Here is a little slice of pie made with the Artiste Cricut Cartridge and this wonderful Huntington paper pack.

 This is a perfect way to mark place settings/seating at your Thanksgiving table and it's a cute way to give your guests a take away gift for coming.

This Pie/Cake cut can be found on page 70 on the Artiste Cartridge.

Holidays From the Heart Blog Hop

I have enjoyed playing with these new fun papers and washi tape in this new Holiday Guide! I just can't wait for you to take a look at it and play with the new items yourself!

I made a cute mini album with the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, using keys on page 56 & 57. A few cuts, a few embellishments, some washi tape and it came together perfectly!

 For my project I stamped and then cut up the fall Poster Tidings stamp, using the words that I wanted to feature on my fall wreath. I was inspired by the fall wreath in our new Autumn/Winter Idea Book on page 86. For mine I used the "Fall Harvest" stamp set for the leaves, the Burlap Ribbon and finished it off with Rosewood Mini-Medley Accents.

A great reason to join my team!

Every year I am lucky enough to go with my team to a weekend retreat in Heber, Az. This year was again a very relaxing, fun... but most important... productive weekend!
I was able to get 12 double page layouts, 4 single page layouts, 22 cards, 2 pic. frames, a candy holder and a Halloween hat done.

But wait it gets even better!! As a consultant with Close to my Heart I also get to go to an album retreat in UT in just about a month, mid Oct. And then convention in July.... I love this company!!

YES, IT'S CALLED ARTBOOKING FOR A REASON Blog Hop

As many of you know, Close to My Heart has just released a brand, new Cricut cartridge:  Artbooking!!! It's nothing short of fantastic!!!  Oh the things you will be creating with this cartridge - we don't even know where to begin!  So, we decided to show you some of the creations WE have made using this amazing, versatile cartridge  It's not just for scrapbookers you know.  There are 700 images with a ton of coordinating stamps.

 For my project I used the Huntington paper pack and a 12x12 frame (found at almost any craft store) and a dry erase marker. The calendar overlay found on page 68 in the Artbooking Cart. made this project very easy!! And the best part was that the cut outs could be put together to make another calendar, just in reversed form.

 I also used this Sun- Sat. photo mat cut out from page 79. 

 This is an easy project to put together as a way to communicate with our family or to make as a gift for someone else. 

 Using the "My Life" Stamp set (that comes with this wonderful collection) and cut outs from page 79 to make the days of the week arrows, its easy to change the calendar from month to month using a dry erase marker.

Close To My Heart new product blog hop

Over the past few weeks I have been playing with a lot of new product from the new Autumn/Winter Idea Book. The Designed Decor Frames are by far my favorite new product line!! 

After looking at these frames I just knew I had to have one, or maybe two of each! Not only for my home decor, but also to display both my kids and my art work. 

But when I saw this amazing gift that was made for the 2013 CTMH Advisory Board... I just knew I had to make something like it. So with the elegant Huntington paper I set out to "Scrap Lift" this wonderful creation. 

With a few added touches to go with my paper and theme, I was able to make this the perfect gift for my Mother-in-law. I can't wait for her to see it and add it to her wall of pictures! I love the little bit of bling I was able to add with a few New Rosewood Mini-Medley Accents, paired with a cute flower from the Antiqued Gold Accents.
